Santa Presents

Santa was super great to Jack this year, and we were so excited to have gotten many new toys for him to play with. He loves both of the walkers he got, and they are different so it's cool. We ended up going down to Eastern Shore, so he couldn't really play with any of them, but he did when we got back.

Feel Bad

So I have been Santas Elf, and recieving all of these packages from our loves ones to Jackson, and I feel horrible because all we could afford this year was to send christmas cards. So to all of my Colorado/Boston family I am so sorry that I did not send anything, if I could have I would've. We are very excited to see all of Jacks presents and thank you for the thoughtfullness of buying him something. We will pay you back ten fold next year! Merry Christmas!

Ba Ba Ba

So about 2 days ago, Jackson started to say ba ba ba. I don't really know what it means, but it kinda sounds like ball, or mama but with b's. haha. I love his new sounds and everything, because he is so verbal now that he realizes he can talk. It's also nice to be able to have him understand some of what I say. Wish I had some pictures, but I've been fighting with my camera and it's batteries. haha, it just doesn't like me. GO RAVENS!!!!

Jr. Santa

So Santa's Helpers a.ka. Kyle and myself went to go pick out this really neat toy for Jackson at Babies R Us on Monday. Well we were about to leave and of course they had a Santa suit for babies. I had to buy it. Little did I know, Kyle surprised both Jack and I by going to see Santa later that night, and had brought the suit with us. These pics are before we left... oh he is pretty cute!!!

This is an early stocking stuffer, I promised I'd let him take a sneak peak if he gave me one good Santa picture, which he did.


He is so much entertainment these days, full of personality and life. Don't really know who he is more like, but he's def. a stubborn boy just like his mommy and daddy. haha...well till next time, Happy Holidays. Ho Ho Ho!!!

Thanksgiving II

So I promised pictures of the headress I made my sweet boy, and here they are. I think I laughed for a long time, just because he was so cute!!!!

Thanksgiving!!

Hello All!

Happy Late Thanksgiving. I think I am finally recuporated for our 1st hosted Thanksgiving dinner. I'm pretty proud of me and Kyle considering that we hosted about 5 people and cooked everything (most everything). We had fun with everyone that came, and Jackson just loved being everyone's center of attention. We also took our family photo which everyone will get in the mail probably on Christmas Day, because I procrastinate ;0.

I will add pics later, when I figure out how to get them out of email onto here. I'm kind of slow when it comes to some things on the computer.

Also we got our Christmas Tree, and it was very fun to go cut down our own. This is our 2nd time going to cut from this Tree farm. At first Jack was not having it, because it was freezing!!! But then, I think he warmed up to the idea ;)

Gigi's Snowbabies!! I don't know how many times we said "Jackson just look, don't touch." haha, I always wondered why my mom always said that to me when I was younger.

SNOW DAY!

WHAT A SURPRISE!!! Yesterday we got some snow, and it was awesome, I could not even believe it. Of course it only lasted 5 minutes each time, but just enough time for me and Jackson to go outside and show him the best weather in the world. The first time he was not a fan, maybe partly to the fact that it was only 31 degees. haha, what a bad mama for putting him out in that cold. Here are some pictures of the first time we went out:

So then, we decided that it was about to time go inside and he was much more happier inside, about 2 hours later we went outside again because it snowed again! YAY! He was much happier then! ;)

So after a fun day outside, I found this newsboy hat, and it was funny and cute on him! I LOVE it! Then, of course he had naked time, and he started doing this thing where he puts his bum in between his legs and it's goofy, here's a pic.

Computer Problems and Teething

Well..I guess being attached to a wireless source of internet is bound to give your computer an infection. I wish we could afford internet that was secure, but it's okay. This past week was a doozy in Jack mommy land. Last Wednesday I got a very bad cold, and so did Jackson well at least I thought! Wrong was I, when I felt his 2 top teeth wanting to break through the surface. Well it is one week since then and I'm all better, but those poor 2 teeth have yet to break through. Poor guy, I never realized feeling so helpless would feel so painful. I want to help my little man, but there is no medicine, nothing I can give him that would help those teeth come in faster. Well time for some pictures...here's little man Jack this past week...:)

Ravens Game and 8 Month Pics

So...last Sunday the Ravens played and of course we were all watching and decided to put Jackson in Daddy's Ravens jersey...let's just say he's pretty darn cute;)

He is also being very curious and wanting to stand on everything, boy am I in trouble only 8 months old and trying to stand on everything.

Pumpkins and Costumes...

Sorry this is out of order, but this was Jack's cute Halloween outfit as baby Jack from The Incredibles and also him at the pumpkin patch picking out pumpkins.

Brayden and Jack

So today.. was awesome we went to Hershey, PA and went on the tour for Chocolate World. It was so cute with the singing cows and smelled of that delicious chocolate aroma...yummy! Jackson loved all the singing from the cute little cows. I wish I got pictures but of course I left the camera at home. I want to move to Hershey so bad, I just think the name would be cool to say that we lived there. And who could ever get tired of chocolate...no one!

Around 4 we went on over to Amy and Andy's (Kyle's cousin) and they were so sweet to us. We are going to try to make this a once a month trip to see them because it was so fun and great! Brayden and Jack were loving to much to each other. They just hugged and laughed at each other, so when Jackson starts to walk it will be a great time for them. I loved being around adults!! I love Jack, but once in awhile you just need some adult talk.

We also saw Aunt Betty and Uncle Vernon, they are the sweetest folks out there. Aunt Betty reminds me of my Gigi when she was healthy and raring. I used to love to sleep on her chest because it was so comfy. I hugged Aunt Betty and I got rushing memories of car rides sleeping on Gigi's shoulder, and I almost cried.

What a crazy life!!!

It has been 7 months since our wonderful bundle of joy Jackson Blakemore McCune came into this world. He is such a blessing and we love him dearly. For the first few months he would just lay on mom and not do much, but ever since his 5th month birthday he has been nuts!!! We have been chasing him around the house all day long. I just love it, but man oh man is he a mover. And he is so different at home than he is out and about. When he goes outside or in a new enviornment he gets so SERIOUS....but than he gets home and his personality explodes. WOW does it change. He can't get enough of trying out different squels and noises from his mouth. One day he squeld for one hour in pure joy and I almost popped an ear vessel. But all in all, he is the greatest baby I could want. And for my hubby, he is the most special person I have ever known. I guess when you come for a divorced beginning you always in the back of your mind think that things won't work. Well I am starting to realize that all you need to do is instead of saying "what if this doesn't.." you just think "what if this does.." I love him, and he loves me, how much more in life can you ask for. Faith I guess is one of the hardest things to learn, but once known is the one of the greatest blessing God has ever given man. I love my boys, and hopefully you will learn to love them too!!!! :)
